savingsSince 2012 basically all Spanish internet operators are offering all-included (Todo incluido) packets that include a landline, an ADSL-connection and a mobile phone line.

According to CMT (Comisión del Mercado de las Telecomunicaciones) already 4 of 10 homes have their phone and internet connections from the same provider.

Nearly 70% of Movistar customers with a fixed landline have one or more mobile phone lines with the same operator. With Vodafone and Orange this percentage drops to 61%. Cable operators are different story as only 13.5% of their customers have a mobile phone service with their cable internet service.

Pros and cons

What you will benefit is that the monthly invoice is from one company, and one company only. Monthly price will be likely lower but in most cases (except Jazztel) there’s a permanency from 12 to 24 months.

Meaning that although you’re not satisfied with the speed of your ADSL connection or the performance of your mobile phone network (e.g. poor coverage) it is impossible or very difficult to make any changes to the current contract.

Big savings

A customer who has landline, ADSL and mobile phone from different providers could be paying around 70 euros per month depending of the services and their prices.

The cheapest alternatives “Jazztel Pack Ahorro 100” and “Movistar Fusion Cero” are almost half price which can mean savings up to 300 euros per year. That is one significant reason to consider changing all devices and contracts under one provider.

Jazztel Pack Ahorro 100, Movistar Fusion Cero and Orange Canguro 35 and Vodafone Red are the cheapest ones. Jazztel has no permanency but if you contract a mobile phone from them the situation can be different.
